Tolmount – 50.0% operated

The Tolmount gas field is situated in Block 42/28d, in the UK southern North Sea. It was discovered in 2011 with further appraisal drilling in 2013. The HGS Tolmount platform was successfully installed in October 2020. First gas is expected around year-end 2021. The Greater Tolmount Area includes the Tolmount East discovery.

Tolmount East Development

Tolmount East is located in Block 42/28d of the southern North Sea. The subject of the environmental statement below comprises a single well development, installation of subsea infrastructure, and a 4-kilometre, 12-inch pipeline tied back to the HGS Tolmount minimum facilities platform. The development was sanctioned in July 2021 with development drilling planned for 2022.

In accordance with the Offshore Oil and Gas Exploration, Production, Unloading and Storage (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2020, the project is subject to an environmental impact procedure. Representations, comments or questions relating to this project may be made to the Secretary of State by the consultation closing date of 5 June 2021.

Johnston – operator 28.75%

Johnston is a dry gas accumulation discovered in 1990 and is located in Blocks 43/26a and 43/27a in the UK southern North Sea. The field was developed with two horizontal development wells drilled from a four-slot subsea template, tied back to Ravenspurn North. Production commenced in 1994. After processing at Ravenspurn North, gas was exported to the Perenco-operated terminal at Dimlington.
