Steve Cox is Executive Vice President (EVP) HSES, Net Zero and CCS at Harbour Energy.
Steve started his oil and gas career at Shell, where over a period of 15-years he held several roles including in operations, asset support, planning and economics, integrated services contract holder and project roles across the UK, Netherlands and Norway.
He moved to the BG Group in 2010, initially into a global organisation as project manager working on developments in the UK and Norway as well as providing support to the global BG projects in Australia, Kazakhstan and Brazil. In 2013 he moved back into operations and asset management then assumed the role of vice president for UK operations, where he led the BG Group initiative to move to a late-life operations model in the UK, Tunisia and India.
In 2016 when BG was acquired by Shell, he returned there to the role of asset manager for late-life assets in the UK where he helped develop a tailored solution to late-life operations across several countries.
Since joining Harbour in 2017 Steve has held several EVP roles with responsibilities including non-operated ventures, integration, global services, corporate HSES, Net Zero and carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects.
