Start-up of Alve Nord and Idun Nord in the Norwegian Sea

The Alve Nord and Idun Nord fields in the Norwegian Sea have started production, marking another milestone in Norway for Harbour.

Both developments, operated by Aker BP, are tied back to the Skarv FPSO and commenced production around one year ahead of the original schedule.

Michael Zechner, Managing Director of Harbour Energy in Norway, said:

Production start-up from the Alve Nord and Idun Nord fields is testament to the strong pipeline of high value, subsea tiebacks we have in Norway and support production at around current levels in country through to the end of the decade.”

Skarv area is Harbour’s largest producing area in Norway. With further infill drilling opportunities, the Harbour-operated Adriana Sabina development and additional exploration potential in the surrounding area, Skarv is expected to remain a cornerstone of Harbour’s Norway portfolio for years to come.
